Hours, Days and then weeks ran into each other. Our
anniversary, only a week after his home-going, was incredibly painful and spent
in numb disbelief. Grief lives in the soul and is a robber. It is that part of
us that feels. It is in the sense realm of our Triune being where the pain is
the deepest. The scriptures are the only weapon against it that has any power
to keep us from going mad. Hope rises and fights the battle of faith for us and
wins.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
